The ASCAP Foundation Life in Music Award
In continuing The ASCAP Foundation tradition of recognizing the efforts of music creators who have made significant contributions to the world of music that are now integral parts of America's culture, The ASCAP Foundation Life in Music Award (formerly Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an ASCAP writer member from a wide variety of musical genres. This award is supported by funding from a bequest under the will of Rosalie Meyer, the widow of Joseph Meyer made to The ASCAP Foundation.
