The ASCAP Foundation Announces Recipients of
2004 Heineken Music Initiative/ASCAP Foundation R&B Grant Program

The ASCAP Foundation and The Heineken Music Initiative are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2004 Heineken Music Initiative/ASCAP Foundation R&B Grant program.

This is the third year that the program recognizes the talents of up-and-coming R&B songwriters in key music markets across the country, and provides them with encouragement to further develop their careers in music. The songwriter (or songwriters) of the winning song from each of the markets receives a $2,500 grant.

The full list of winners and the winning song titles are:

ATLANTA: DoT Wilson for "De Ja Vu"
CHICAGO: David Burns and Stewart McKenzie for "Judging You"
NEW YORK: Barry Pringle for "Mistakes"
PHILADELPHIA: Abby Dobson and Mark & Nicole Hamilton of h20
Productions for "For The Love"
WASHINGTON D.C./BALTIMORE: Chico and 2nd Child for "All About You"
