Reporting Requirements for All 2015 Grant Recipients

The ASCAP Foundation has a formal reporting process for all 2015 grantees. This reporting system provides both qualitative and quantitative information on programs we fund. As part of that process, all 2015 ASCAP Foundation grant recipients are required to complete The ASCAP Foundation Program Report at the conclusion of their 2015 project. Program Reports should be received in our office no later than October 1, 2015. Special arrangements can be made for programs ending after October 1, 2015.

The Grand Canyon Music Festival
Native American Composer Apprentice Project
Grand Canyon, AZ

Since 2008, The ASCAP Foundation has provided a grant to The Grand Canyon Music Festival to support its Native American Composer Apprentice program. The program provides a creative opportunity for 25 talented students annually within the Native American communities of Arizona to work with ASCAP composers to create original works, which are then fine tuned with the help of ASCAP member & Composer-in-Residence, Ravon Chacon and performed by renowned NYC quartet Ethel. The program was honored with the 2012 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award from the President’s Committee on the Arts & Humanities.
